ASTD International Orientation
Sunday, June 1, 2008
9:15 - 11:00 a.m.
This orientation is for international attendees who are attending the conference for the first time. International members of the Planning Advisory Committee (PAC) will lead the session. They will cover the Program Guide and how it is organized which will help you navigate the conference including the following highlights: understanding the nine education tracks and special programs; networking activities and other key features such as the Expo and Career Center. There will also be a discussion of how speakers are guided to develop the sessions and an overview of the American culture and conference style. There will be an opportunity at the beginning of the session to meet other attendees. The session will be simultaneously interpreted into Chinese (Mandarin), Japanese, and Korean.

The International Perspectives
sessions combine the International Forums with sessions
of special interest to the ASTD audience working in multinational
companies and/or in countries around the world. Sessions

ASTD requires payment before a registration is considered
complete. ASTD accepts credit cards, checks, and purchase
orders. Registrations can be completed online, by fax, by
mail, and by phone.
